Taoists are concerned with becoming a good person who lives in harmony with all things and people, not about doing good acts.
They do not initiate action, but wait for events to make action necessary. Taoists avoid letting their own desires push them into creating action. It is the Taoist's ideal to change and become an example of good life for others.

The Yin (male) and Yang (female) portrays the two complementary sides of a whole. It shows that they are inseparable and equal.
